SISTERS ISLAND

Situated 6km northeast of neighbouring La Digue and in close proximity to Félicité and to Ile Cocos, Grand Soeur and Petite Soeur islands are a popular venue for excursions on account of their spectacular ocean panoramas and the excellent opportunities they offer for trekking and picnicking.

These islands are also famous for snorkelling and diving in waters where the marine life is prolific. The hotel Château de Feuilles on Praslin manages the islands.

ARIDE ISLAND

The name ‘Aride’ first appears on nautical charts after French voyages of exploration in 1770 and 1771. Aride Island is the northernmost granitic island in the Seychelles archipelago (Bird Island is the northernmost Seychelles island overall).

A nature reserve, it is leased and managed by the Island Conservation Society of Seychelles.

LA DIGUE ISLAND

La Digue is an island in the Seychelles, in the Indian Ocean off East Africa. It’s known for its beaches, like Anse Source d’Argent, dotted with granite boulders, on the west coast. To the south, isolated Anse Bonnet Carré Beach, with calm, shallow water, is accessible only on foot, as is Anse Cocos Beach, in a protected bay on the east coast.

La Digue’s diverse wildlife can be seen in the Veuve Nature Reserve.

COUSIN ISLAND

At the end of the road on the north west coast, over a jungle clad hill lies Anse Lazio, possibly the most beautiful beach you will set eyes upon. With half a mile of perfect, fine white sands and gorgeous turquoise waters that are so clear you can watch the fish swim around you.

It's no surprise Anse Lazio is frequently called 'the best beach in the world'. The beach was recently graded as the 6th best beach in world  on TripAdvisor website.
